Working on Labour day

Today is 1st of May...Labour day...

While everyone is still sleeping there...or lying on the bed enjoying own sweet time...resting there.....

I'm working today....

As usual...when u work on public holiday..the only nice thing happen to u is the traffic is so damn nice...
U hardly can find traffic jam early in the morning when it's holiday..

When u work on holiday, u will get another replacement leave, means add one day annual leave.
That's my company's policy...
When work on weekend...u will get RM100..
When work on holiday.....u will only get another replacement leave...

Check employee's right at here

Aren't we should get double pay according to the right we have???
But if the company just willing to give u this as return u work on holiday...what can u do??
Sue the company??
Stand for our right??
Are u really willing to take the risk to sue company and get what u should have??
Probably...u won't have any chances to work in same field anymore...
Cos for sure u will be blacklisted..
U work or not???

It's a "give and take" stuff....

What can u do??

Working today is really fine for me, becos I have no plan on today too, rather sit at home watch TV...just that....
Strongly feel that company is a bit too stingy in this...
OK...if u can't afford to pay such big amount to ur workers, then is it small money also not willing to pay for that?
The small money i mean here is...At least give us meal allowance lar....

Usually how many employees in the company will be required to work on holiday??
ALL workers?? I don't think so lor....
Is that a big money to a company??

I always think...employees are tools to get money in company...
I know...u dun have to do this and ur worker will still need to come back to work...
But...at least...at least do such small move to make workers happier lor...

It's just a voice out from a small potato in the company...:D
Mayb when I'm at management level then will have diff thoughts..at least...now I feel a bit unfair in this....
